The title says it all.. I just installed a new S&B CAI and found that one of the factory hose clamps had cut into the rubber hose leaving a crack... Can you guys help me identify the correct part number? It's the little hose that runs from the oil fill canister to the Air intake tube (coming from the air filter housing connect to the turbo intake).
Yes, it looks like the breather for the t case. I believe it is suppose to run up the left side of the trans to the bell housing area of the trans. thanks guys. The two combinations are meant to be paired as such, but the valved rear vent tube will function with either PCV. It will just have a second valve along the recycle route to the turbo inlet. Removing the PCV, for a PCV delete or catch-can, eliminates crankcase vacuum. The removal of the "PCV-to-intake manifold" tube does this.

One comes off the turbo then there is a t then continues to turbo solenoid at t the other line is missing and no idea wher it ends. Also off the intake tube is an open hole with no line.

The small amount of oil coming out of the breather tube is completely normal. The amount of pressure that you feel coming out is also completely normal. Non-turbo engines vent crankcase gases back into the intake stream where they are burned off during combustion.

On our own project car, I noticed that the engine would not idle at all after running perfectly a day or two before. After a quick inspection, I noticed that the line leading from the intake manifold to the air-oil separator had split requiring replacement.
